At InterFulfillment, we want to help you minimize unexpected shipping costs. One common fee is UPS Address Correction Charges, which occur when an address is incorrect. Here’s what you need to know:
Why Address Correction Fees Happen
- You provide an address when submitting an order.
- If the address is invalid or incomplete, UPS automatically corrects it and automatically charges a fee per parcel (multiple boxes = multiple fees).
- Other carriers (like Canada Post) may return undeliverable packages, which also incur fees.
- We do not profit from these fees—they are carrier charges which we invoice to you.
Important: InterFulfillment is not responsible and has no control over addresses included with orders.
How to Prevent Address Correction Fees
For Canadian addresses:
- Use Canada Post’s AddressComplete tool to ensure valid addresses at the point of entry.

For international addresses:
- Tools like Google Autocomplete for Shopify helps customers enter correct addresses during checkout.
