This notification is to inform you that Extensiv (our software provider) identified an issue between the integration of 3PL Warehouse Manager (our customer portal) and Extensiv’s Shopify app (the app that connects a Shopify store to the InterFulfillment portal) that began on March 29th, 2023.
Please disregard this notice if you DO NOT have a Shopify website connected to the InterFulfillment system.
If you do have a Shopify website connected to the Extensiv 3PL Warehouse Manager immediate action is required to address this issue. You can find step-by-set instructions here: Changing your fulfillment settings in the Shopify app
What is the issue?
Due to a recent Shopify platform update, the connection of advanced shipment notices (ASNs) are not communicating back to Shopify. As a result, orders may appear as if they have not been fulfilled or shipped within Shopify, even though they have been.
What do I need to do?
To address this issue, Extensiv has determined that additional Shopify API access scopes need to be enabled within the Extensiv Shopify App. Specifically, the write_fulfillments and read_fulfillments scopes must be enabled to allow the ASNs to communicate properly with Shopify.
Extensiv has created a step-by-step tutorial on their Help Center to guide you through the process of enabling these API scopes. Once the additional scopes are enabled, the ASNs will resume communication with Shopify, and the fulfillment status of your orders will be updated correctly.
We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused and thank you for your patience. As always, our support team is available to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.
