InterFulfillment Inventory Requirements

Here is a list of standard warehouse inventory shipment preparation requirements that you can send to your factory to ensure items are barcoded, SKU'd, and properly prepared for shipment to one of our warehouses:

Barcode Requirements:

Each individual item must have a unique barcode.
Barcodes should be in compliance with industry standards (such as GS1).
Barcodes must be scannable and printed clearly without any distortion.
Barcode format (e.g., UPC, EAN)

SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) Requirements:

Every product must be assigned a unique SKU.
SKUs should be alphanumeric and easily identifiable.
SKU codes should not be repeated for different products.

Packaging Requirements:

Each item must be packaged securely to prevent damage during transit.
Packaging materials should be sturdy and appropriate for the product.
Clear labeling on the packaging indicating product name, SKU, quantity, and any handling instructions.
Palletization requirements if applicable, including maximum pallet height, weight restrictions, and pallet configuration guidelines.

Documentation:

Include a packing list detailing the contents of each package, including SKU, quantity, and description.
Provide any necessary customs documentation (such as commercial invoices, certificates of origin) for international shipments.
Bill of Lading (BOL) or other shipping documentation as required by the carrier.

Compliance Requirements:

Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., FDA regulations for food and pharmaceutical products).
Provide any necessary certification or compliance documentation required for the shipment of specific products.

Communication and Coordination:

Delivery appointments need to be scheduled for all shipments of 4 pallets of more. To schedule a delivery appointment please send the relevant Inbound File to support@interfulfillment.com and request a delivery time and date.
