Inventory Management Using the InterFulfillment Portal
When submitting your new sku list to our support team, we recommend adding the item min and max quantities. Adding this information at the item level will help your team manage inventory quantities.
MIN / MAX Quantities
Item maximum = maximum quantity ordered
Item minimum = stock status quantity that you want to trigger a notification to reorder
Automated Notification to Reorder
Setting the minimum quantity will trigger an automated email to be sent to your team members of choice. When stock reaches the minimum quantity your team should reorder and monitor the over-allocated orders in case a customer needs to be informed that you are out-of-stock.
Flagging Problematic Items
Your team can also manage inventory quantities through the InterFulfillment stock status report.
If your items are setup with MIN and MAX quantities, the system will flag problematic items that need your attention.
- Items at the maximum level will appear in purple on the stock status report.
- When items reach the minimum quantity it will appear in orange on the stock status report.
- If the item has almost reached the minimum quantity it will appear in yellow om the stock status report
- If stock quantity is ok, it will not be coloured on the stock status report.
How to Export the Detailed Stock Status Report
To pull the min/max colour coded stock status report go to REPORTS>STOCK STATUS>Select Show Reorder Categories > Select Detailed > Select Report Definition: MinMax > RUN REPORT
